UNTITLED ART FAIR - MIAMI 2023

Johansson Projects is presenting three female-identifying artists whose practices centralise Gender Equality in the Arts for Untitled Miami 2023: CJ Chueca, Annie Duncan and Sheena Rose. Duncan and Chueca use hand-moulded ceramic sculpture to articulate feminist ideas and explore issues of migration around the world. Rose plays with personal and cultural imaginations to promote inclusivity and a free world for Black womxn. These artists uniquely refer to their cultural contexts, drawing inspiration from philosophical traditions, multi-culturality and immigration, gender roles, feminism and accessibility.
